Volume 3.2 of Ferdinand T nnies’s Collected Works contains his monograph on Thomas Hobbes (1588-1679), which was first published in 1896, with the second and third editions published in 1912 and 1925, respectively. This work reflects the continued progress and concluding synthesis of T nnies’s lifelong studies on the English philosopher and is considered an early milestone in international Hobbes studies.
